Non-Resident Pakistanis and Pakistani-Americans Summit planned in NY
MAR 11 - The first-ever Non-Resident Pakistanis (NRP) summit will be held in New York City on July 5 and 6. The organizer of the event, Shaukat Mahmood says the idea evolved from the example set by the Indian Diaspora which as a group has contributed approximately 50% to the growth and progress of India. The Non-Resident Chinese have contributed more than 75% to the growth of China. The "NRP Summit-2008" has been planned to develop strategic insight for future growth and progress in Pakistan among NRPs and others interested in the country's growth.   It promises to bring together the most successful NRPs (Non-Resident Pakistanis as well as Pakistani-Americans) to a single event. Location: Hilton Hotel in New York City; Dates: July 5th and 6th, 2008. Website to go to book your interest and participation: www.nrpsummit.org or call 212 685 6243 Fax: 212 685 6924
