LONDON,
DEC 3: Seven years after Princess Diana was killed in
a road accident inside a Paris tunnel, her death still remains a mystery.
Now, rumors are rife that her driver during that tragic night, Henri Paul,
was a MI6 spy.
The top brass of British Police is expected to question the
Intelligence chiefs over the issue.
According to The Daily Mail, Scotland Yard Commissioner Sir John
Stevens, who is leading an investigation into the death of Diana and her
lover Dodi Fayed, is said to be examining the possibility that Paul was on
the payroll of the security services when he drove the Princess to her
death in a Paris tunnel along the River Siene on August 31, 1997.
John
would also be interviewing the intelligence officers about suspicions that
Paul was supplying information to them in lieu of money.
The rumors further fuel various conspiracy theories surrounding the
tragedy, including the one of Dodi's father, Harrods boss Mohamed Al Fayed,
who has frequently voiced his belief that the couple were killed in a plot
involving the intelligence services. (ANI)
