Nicole Kidman to Wed?

Yet, according to The Sun, the 38-year-old actress is keen to beat her ex-husband Tom Cruise down the aisle.

Tom is thought to be marrying Katie Holmes in July, and the couple are expecting their first child.

A pal of Nicole told The Sun: "She wants to have it over and done with before Tom Cruise's big day.

"Invitations have gone out and the wedding's happening this coming weekend."

According to US TV show Entertainment Tonight (Dec 2), Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban are 'officially' engaged.

The paps have been happy-snapping like mad of late, with pictures of Nic wearing a diamond ring and others of Keith's hand on her stomach, whipping up rumours that a wedding and baby are on the cards.

Further pics of the actress in Keith's native Nashville - out and about with the country singer's parents - have stirred things up even more.

With Nicole being named  Hollywood's second-highest paid actress couple of weeks back, a wedding bash certainly has the potential to be lavish.

And she's steadily closing in on No.1 earner, Julia Roberts.

Mind you, Keith's award-winning success in the music biz must have earned him few bob too, so we'll sure he won't mind chipping in.
