Spouse swapping in Delhi?

FEB 9: Page 3 is really and truly under the microscope these days. After Madhur Bhandarkar’s film of the same name, it’s the turn of Fun by debutant director Sanjay Zhaveri.

On a visit to Delhi, heroine Payal Rohatgi told us that the film’s theme of spouse swapping draws its inspiration from Delhi’s Page 3 circles.

Really?! And does Payal draw her inspiration from the likes of Mallika Sherawat and Neha Dhupia? ‘‘I am my own competition,’’ comes the reply. ‘‘Sex is an integral part of the plot of Fun,’’ she admits, adding, ‘‘Just like an actress can sing, dance, laugh and cry, she can have sex too.

It’s time we moved on from flowers coming together to one of the basic realities of life.’’ Please note, Payal does not ‘‘do films where there is little in terms of a plot besides sex.
