Euro MP writes for erotic mag
 

Liberal democrat Silvana Koch-Mehrin, 33, is writing for Praline magazine.

The magazine has a long tradition of providing Germans with pictures of professional and amateur nude models.

In her column, Koch-Mehrin explains things like the need for a European constitution or why the European Parliament has three official seats.

Asked about her work for the controversial magazine, she told the Tagesspiegel newspaper she doesn't want politics to be elitist.

"All Germans aged 18 and over have the right to vote," she said. "So for politics, it's important to get all layers of society interested."

The Believe singer, who turns 60 in May 2006, will strip off on a Hawaiian beach for the steamy photo shoot reports Femalefirst quoting America's In Touch magazine.

A source said: "She looks amazing and wants to capture her physical beauty on film."

Last month, it was reported the legendary singer has turned to acupuncture in an effort to stop the ageing process.

According to sources, the 58-year-old star, who will finish her extended Farewell Tour in Australia next year after over 200 shows, is already feeling the benefits of the treatment.

Biographer Mark Bego said at the time: "She started having it done to eliminate the frown lines.

"It helps to stimulate the skin by bringing blood to the spots where the needles are inserted. The skin looks fresher and feels firmer."
