INS Vikrant, India's aircraft carrier was turned into a
ramp for a fashion show on Saturday. Not many people would have thought that
the carrier, which played a pivotal role in the 1971 India-Pakistan
war would one day become a ramp.
India is celebrating Republic Day which started on January 21.
The fashion ramp on carrier was a perfect opportunity
for designer-stylist Hemant Trivedi to show off his bridal collection. He also threw in some Bollywood masala for some fun.
Bridal wear by Sheetal was also part of the ramp on carrier
celebrations.
The bridal couture range was showcased in film themes like Mughal-e
Azam, Chandni, Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Ghum, Main Hoon Na and Veer Zaara.
Models like They included Aditi Govitrikar, Tapur and Tupur
Chatterjee, Tejaswini Kolhapure, Dipannita Sharma, Nethra Raghuraman,
Rahul Sood, Amit Kaur and Rahul Singh charmed the audience in
colorful ensembles of various hues and styles. |
