DEC 15 - Bollywood beauty Shilpa Shetty says she felt
at home in Karachi.
Shilpa and Urmila Matondkar were in Pakistan on Sunday
for a fashion show - the annual
Lux Carnival de Couture held for a charitable cause. While Shilpa walked the ramp in an elegant outfit designed by
Indian fashion designer Tarun Tahiliani, Urmila sashayed the catwalk in a Manish
Malhotra creation.
The proceeds from the show were reportedly given for a teachers' fund.
Pakistan's own fashion tycoon
Rizwan Beyg displayed some of his best works.
On her return back home, Shilpa is going gaga over the
hospitality shown to her by people in Pakistan. This was
Shilpa’s second visit to the country after her visit to
Lahore a few years back.
Urmila, on the other hand, has visited the country
several times before. She was there at last year’s
Karachi Film Festival where her movie Maine Gandhi Ko
Nahin Mara was screened in the competition section. |
