Miss Universe Hawkins loves dosas

Miss Universe Jennifer HawkinsDosas might just become Miss Universe Jennifer Hawkins' gateway to Indian food! She loves them.

"I had a dosa  in the morning - it was amazing. I think I'm going to fall in love with Indian food after tasting dosas," said Hawkins, who is visiting India.

"I always thought that Indian food would be spicy, but this was nice."

Hawkins has come to India on a promotional tour by Sanjana Jon, the sister of well-known Indian American designer Anand Jon.

On her first day in Mumbai, she visited the VLCC beauty and fitness centre where she launched an exclusive beauty package titled "Miss Universe Head to Toe".

Looking gorgeous in a green color ghagra choli, she had a brief chat with Vandana Luthra who runs VLCC.

Miss Universe Jennifer Hawkins"I did not know much about India before but I'm starting to know about this country. It is a very interesting place as people here are very intelligent and I know for a fact that you people are great in the IT industry," Hawkins said. "The women here are beautiful and dress very well."

Hawkins will also visit New Delhi and Lucknow.

She said she had not seen any Bollywood movies but had heard they were popular globally. "If a good role comes my way, I would love to be in your movies."

There is also talk that she may be part of a musical in "Bombay Dreams" style.
