Dosti - Friends Forever
Not Really!

 
“Dosti - Friends Forever” is a film by producer-director Suneel Darshan who is a specialist of sorts when it comes to emotional silver nuggets.

This time he has tackled the emotional drama with the required depth though. But male bonding has been explored time and again in Hindi films. Therefore, Dosti - Friends Forever treads a similar path, thus  predictable and controllable for moviegoers, who want paisa vasool full of surprises, oomphs, actions, drama, etc. No tear jerkers please. It's 21st century now!

Armed with an attractive star cast and dollops of emotions, Dosti - Friends Forever could've been an old wine packaged in a new bottle. Thankfully, it is not!

As for the performances, Akshay Kumar and Bobby Deol have put them in sincerely but that does not take the movie up the notch too much on that basis.

Kareena Kapoor is attractive as always. Laara Dutta, Juhi Chawla and Aman Verma are okay of course.

Here is a case of relatively good plot not getting translated effectively on screen. Who is to blame. Moviegoers eat popcorns instead!

Nadeem-Shravan’s compositions are average. So is the overall rating of the movie.
