Nandita Das splits with second husband

AUG 1 - Nandita Das, known for her earthy looks, has split from her second husband, Soumya Sen.

Nandita and Sen, an ad man, had had a quiet wedding ceremony a couple of years ago. Unfortunately, things didn�t work out.

The talented actress has given memorable performances in films like Fire, Earth and Pitaah.

There are also reports that she is planning to direct a film.

She will soon be seen in Jagmohan Mundhra's Provoked alongside actors Aishwarya Rai and Naveen Andrews.

Another report says Nandita and Shafi (of �Chatrapathi� fame) who are acting as wife and husband in the film Kamli has completed the shooting, editing and dubbing works at the same time.

Isha's UK sojourn with Zaheer Khan

AUG 1 - The Isha Sharvani-Zaheer Khan affair is in the spotlight yet again. Though the buzz doing the rounds is that the cricketer and the pretty actress have split, it�s far from true.

According to Mid-Day, Isha will be leaving for the UK next week to be with Zaheer who is currently playing county cricket for Worcester-shire.

Says Isha�s friend: Isha is flying off to UK for two weeks to spend some time with Zaheer who is currently in Worcestershire playing county cricket. She is leaving on August 8.�

The couple has been together for almost two years.

Zaheer and Isha first met at an event where she performed. The touring Australian team was leaving India and Isha was performing at the function. They got talking and exchanged numbers.

Later, they kept bumping into each other at parties and social dos and were soon drawn towards each other.

Reportedly Zaheer helped Isha find a place in Khar last year.

Both used to go house-hunting together.
