DEC 12 - Zee Muzic unveiled its exclusive calendar
featuring John Abraham at Sejo and the Soul Dish last
evening.
Shot by Subi Samuel, news reports say the ladies just couldn’t get
their eyes off the hunk’s calendar. Girlfriend Bipasha Basu
was one of the first guests to arrive and left only in the
wee hours of the morning with John.
Kajol made a quick entry, followed by a quicker exit.
Director Mahesh Manjrekar wowed everybody with his hot
salsa moves along with the sizzling Shweta Salve.
Also in
attendance were Arshad Warsi, Dia Mirza, Nikhil Advani,
Madhur Bhandarkar, Alisha Chinai, Tulip Joshi, Rohit and

12 - Saturday was a big day for actress Perizaad Zorabian
as the actress got married with her longtime boyfriend
Boman Irani.
No not the actor Boman but an estate developer based in
Mumbai. The couple got married in a typical Parsi way.
The wedding reception which happened at Taj Lands End was a
very private affair.
The guest included Amitabh Bachchan, actor Boman Irani,
Shabana Azmi, Poonam Dhillon, Suchitra Pillai, Jugal
Hansraj and Ashish Chaudhary with wife Shamita Bangargi.
Hubby Boman’s special guests included the Hiranandanis,
Kishore Bajaj and the Rahejas. |

DEC 12 - Doe-eyed Bollywood superstar Aishwarya
Rai is not the only actor to be put on the Indian Enforcement
Directorate's radar for receiving money from a foreign
country. There are 20 other Bollywood stars who have been
facing ED scrutiny on similar grounds. According to Mumbai
newspaper DNA, the ED has asked as many as 20 Hindi film stars
to submit the details of international stage shows that they
took part in the recent times. Aishwarya Rai is, of course,
one of them who is being investigated after a sum of euro
23,000 was detected in a parcel addressed to her. Other big
names in this shortlist include actors Bipasha Basu, Akshay
Kumar, Dino Morea and Javed Jaffrey. |

DEC 16 - The famous rock
band "Deep Purple" will present a live concert in Bangalore
Sunday in the only Asia stop of their world tour. On their
fourth official visit to India and third to Bangalore, the
group will promote their new album, "Rapture of the Deep."
"It is wonderful to be back here," said Ian Paice, a member
of the group, about the Bangalore concert, which comes five
years after their previous performance. The group is fresh
from its South American tour. The present tour of the
iconic band would feature some of their most popular
tracks, including the classics 'Highway Star,' 'Smoke on
the Water,' 'Fireball,' 'Black Night,' 'Woman from Tokyo'
and 'Hush.' Members of the band include vocalist Ian Gillan,
guitarist Steve Morse, bassist Roger Glover, also the
producer of the band, Don Airey on the keyboard and Ian
Paice on the drums. The band was formed in 1968 but gained
global prominence specially after the release of the 1970s
hit "Deep Purple in Rock." |
