Aishwarya falls from bicycle, gets bruises
Aish and Akshaye in KHAKEEApril 21: Aishwarya Rai today fell from a bicycle while shooting and ended up getting few bruises on her hands and feet. She was then taken to her hotel room and given first aid. Shooting for the film has been put on hold, reportedly.

Aishwarya was shooting for Mani Ratnam-directed movie "Guru" at Badami in Karnataka when the incident occurred. The former Miss Universe had to ride a bicycle for a particular scene and while practicing the role, her ghaghra (long skirt) got entangled in the bicycle chain and she reportedly lost her balance, smashing into a "No Parking" sign.

"She suffered minor abrasions in the leg and hand. She was given treatment and there is nothing to worry", a police official told the media who was on duty at the sets of the movie.

"Guru" is said to be a 'historical film' set in the backdrop of India's first struggle for Independence. Aishwarya is playing the lead role against actor Abhishek Bachchan in the movie. Shooting of the film was in progress for the past few days.

A few years ago, Aishwarya had hurt herself while shooting for "Khakee".

Reema, Shilpa in the dock
April 21: A local court in Madurai, Tamil Nadu issued a non-bailable warrant against Bollywood actress Reema Sen and Shilpa Shetty for "posing in an obscene manner" in photographs published in a Tamil eveninger Murugan.

A non-bailable warrant has also been issued to the editor of the eveninger.

A local advocate had filed a petition charging the Bollywood glamour dolls for obscenity and the Judge summoned them on February 15.

The actresses had performed dance programs for a charity show in Chennai and the photographs appeared in the press the next day.

The Judge then asked the film stars to appear before the court on March 10. However, the actresses failed to appear in the court on the due date.

ReemaSubsequent summons published in Hindi and English newspapers also did not elicit any response from the actresses.

The court finally decided to issue a non-bailable warrants against the duo. This makes mandatory for the stars to appear before the court, failing which they are liable to be arrested on charges of contempt of court.

Another actress Kushboo, was issued a Non-Bailable warrant last year in connection with an interview on pre-marital sex to a section of press.
