are busy with their moving. From their Sher-E-Punjab
residence in Andheri (east) to her dream home in Bandra.
Amrita is quite excited about the fact that she will now be
close to sister Malaika and the Khan khandaan! Carpentry
work is going on in full swing and the lookout is on for a
good maid. Moving in into a new home is not that easy a
task as it is made out to be, right Amrita? And when does
she plan to move in? “Probably on my birthday,” she says.
“Hope everything gets over in time.” Amrita celebrates her
birthday on January 31. Here’s wishing her new beginnings
in the New Year in her new home.

11 - Katrina Kaif can heave a sigh of relief. Thanks to director Vipul
Shah, the Dargah committee at the revered Ajmer shrine is ready to
forgive her for wearing a skirt on the premises, reported IANS today.
Shah, in whose film "Namastey London" Katrina is
playing an important role, offered his apologies to the management of
the Khwaja Moinudeen Chishti's Sufi shrine. "The director has felt
sorry. So all actions supposed to be taken against the film crew has
been dropped," Abdul Alim Dargah Nazim told IANS on telephone from
Ajmer.
The controversy erupted when Katrina visited
the dargah in October with her co-star Rishi Kapoor to shoot for "Namaste
London". During the shoot, Katrina had a 'dupatta' on her head but her
legs were not properly covered as she had a knee length skirt. Her
attire irked the dargah committee who found her costume objectionable
and disrespectful vis-ŕ-vis the shrine. The film will have the original
scene of Katrina offering prayers at the dargah.
