Vivek Oberoi has been busy playing the field after
splitting with Aishwarya Rai last year.
Like every other single, hot-blooded male, he’s been
zooming in on any woman who looks even the slightest bit
interesting. And it was on one such libidinous hunt that he
‘hit upon’ Sanjay Dutt’s current girlfriend, Manayata.
This happened a few days before Dutt made his relationship
with Manayata public at an award function. So in all
fairness, Vivek wasn’t aware that Manayata wasn’t single
when he began pursuing her. But she complained to Dutt and
the situation got so bad that Sanju stopped talking to
Vivek on the sets of their film Shootout At Lokhandwala.
‘Dutt’ teri ki!
Says a source close to Dutt, “Vivek had heard about Manayata from a friend and began calling and messaging her.
He was so besotted that he even sent her flowers.
Manayata played him along but after a point she must have
become irritated with his wooing. She then told Sanjay that
Vivek had called her in the middle of the night. An angry
Sanjay wanted to confront Vivek right away, but his
friends managed to calm him down before talking to him.”
Vivek: I’m innocent
 The next morning, when Vivek heard that Sanjay was upset
with him, he immediate ly rushed to his residence and
apologised profusely. Vivek admitted that he had been
wooing Mana but was unaware of her connection with Dutt.
But a close friend of Dutt says that he isn’t convinced
that it was innocent. He says, “Sanjay was convinced that
Vivek knew Manayata was his girlfriend and that he was
deliberately flirting with her. Sanjay felt Vivek got
Mana’s number from Sanju himself when Vivek had dropped in
to meet him at his Bandra flat.”
Things took a turn for the worse when Vivek and Sanjay
bumped into each other during the shooting of Shootout At
Lokhandwala. The source says, “Vibes between the two of
them were ice-cold as Sanjay refused to talk to Vivek. He
then cried on Sanju’s shoulders and begged for his
forgiveness and the matter was sorted out.”
Sanjay Dutt was unavailable for comment. When we asked
director Apoorva Lakhia if there had been any problems
between Sanju and Vivek on the sets of Shootout At
Lokhandwala, he said, “Not on my film.”

21 - Director Ram Gopal Varma`s discovery Jiah Khan is making waves even before the release of
her debut film "Nishabd". After crooning a song for the film's music
video, Jiah, who is a trained dancer, has now turned choreographer for
it.
While shooting for the video, Jiah's dance movements impressed the
choreographer so much that he bade her to do her own thing for a
sequence, say witnesses.
Jiah obliged with some belly dancing and hip shaking, just like Latin
sensation Shakira.
The music video is all set to scorch the silver screen soon, according
to those who sneaked a peek at the video.
The wait to watch Jiah make her moves will be worth it, they add.
Another news report says, Jiah shocked her co-star Amitabh Bachchan by
guessing the names of his perfumes and colognes just by smelling them.
According to Jiah, Amitabh has an amazing collection of cologne. He
would sport a new brand every day during the shooting of Nisshabd.
She would smell it once and instantly tell Amitabh the brand name.
Initially, Amitabh would think that it was just mere guesswork. But
when Jiah started doing it regularly, he was taken aback and suspected
that she was going through his toiletries kit.
Incidentally, Jiah had done a short stint in a perfume factory and has
a good nose for perfumes. She can recognize any famous brand of perfume
or cologne just by smelling it once. |
