SRK for uniting India and Pakistan
Shah Rukh KhanDEC 27: Like the character of Major Ram he played in the runaway hit Main Hoon Na , superstar Shah Rukh Khan has a desire to see India and Pakistan unite.

Whether that will ever happen is anybody's guess.

In an interview to the BBC World, SRK said that he has always viewed India and Pakistan as one. He also expressed his desire to see them unite.

"I do wish we could progress socially, economically and religiously together and I would love it to be one country. We would kick everybody's butt in hockey and cricket, I'm sure - if we got together," SRK said in an interview, which was telecasted on Tuesday evening.

SRK also called for the industry to be gentler as cinema can play an important role in resolving tensions between India and Pakistan.

The King Khan said: "Cinema needs to be more gentle - it can explain to people that we are one world or we live in the same area and we have the same thoughts, same problems and we need to sort them out in a way that is more amicable than politicizing an issue."

SRK also talked about being a Muslim and shared his experience of being frisked at American airports.

SRK said he feels it is his duty as a Muslim and as a human being to spread a message to the world that Islam is not a violent religion.

"I think terrorism has no religion, it's just a point of view - right or wrong. I am sure it's right from their point of view but it's wrong for most of us... what religion they belong to, or what country they belong to, I don't think it's the reason they are doing it."

Vivek Ash together?

DEC 21: Vivek Oberoi and Aishwarya Rai have refused to acknowledge their relationship in print.

When asked about it, Vivek Oberoi diplomatically said that it was his prerogative whether to talk about him in print or not. "You should ask her as to why she is not talking about me in print," he said.

On the other hand Ash maintained that she had never discussed her personal life in print. "I am currently shooting for JP Dutta's Umrao Jaan. This is one role I am looking forward to. It has me absolutely charged."

Speculation is still ripe in the media about Ash-Viviek relationship, albeit breakup. There are rumors about Ash and Abhishek linkup too.

Mona Chopra's intimate scenes with Bobby Deol

Mona ChopraThis Friday’s release Dosti - Friends Forever has a few passionate scenes between hot babe Mona Chopra and Bobby Deol .

Mona, who made her mark as an uninhibited belle in the sex-comedy Time Pass , knows well how to make her co-star feel comfortable when it comes to passionate scenes.

While her male co-star in ‘Time Pass’, Arjun Punj, may have shied away from smooching her on screen, Mona made sure actor Bobby Deol felt at ease while doing intimate scenes with her in Dosti.

“Initially, Bobby was shy and withdrawn when it came to the cosy, lovey-dovey scenes. But I took the initiative and broke the ice, and soon, we managed to add spice to the scenes,” Mona is quoted as saying in a Mid-Day report.

Slated to hit the theatres tomorrow, Dosti stars Akshay Kumar , Bobby Deol , Kareena Kapoor and Lara Dutta .
